Hi, I’m Wendi! I graduated from culinary school and have spent many years working in and managing kitchens. Those experiences taught me so much, but deep down I always dreamed of starting something of my own. I’ve always loved feeding people—it’s simply part of who I am. Whether hosting family parties, cooking for friends, or experimenting with new recipes, I’m happiest when I can share food and see others smile.

That passion is what led me to start Sugar Rush Express in 2024. I realized life was too short to keep putting my dream on hold, and what was once just a dream quickly became a reality. What began as baking at home for family and friends has grown into a small business where I get to share my love for sweets with the community.

For me, it’s never just about making treats—it’s about making people feel good. I care most about what makes customers happy, what satisfies their sweet tooth, and how I can brighten their day with something homemade.

Sugar Rush Express is just the beginning. One of my big goals is to own a food trailer so I can bring both my food and desserts straight to customers. I want to experience selling directly to people, hearing their feedback, and building those personal connections that food always creates.

At the heart of it all, my mission is simple: to bake with love, serve with joy, and make sure every bite is sweet enough for you.

In our family, we have a saying that sparked this whole journey: we believe our grandbabies deserve goodies made with love, care, and only the best ingredients—treats that are not only wholesome and nourishing but also full of the high-quality flavor and comfort every sweet bite should bring. Therefore, our baked goods are sweet enough for you, and most importantly, grandbaby approved.
